Minimizing Our Environmental Footprint in North America

  • Avalon:

    1,333 tons diverted from landfill/$105,889.43 cost recovered in 2018 from items sold for reuse/recycle
  • Abbeville:

    1,638 tons diverted from landfill/$9,509 cost recovered from items sold for reuse/recycle
  • Sharon:

    318 tons diverted from landfill/$9,022 cost recovered from items sold for reuse/recycle
  • Cotton Blossom:

    597 tons diverted from landfill—either for reuse/recycle or waste to energy
  • Gayley:

    918 tons waste diverted from landfill/$5,896 cost recovered from items sold/reused

Apollo

The Apollo plant takes every opportunity, no matter how big or how small, to improve the environment. On a daily basis, Apollo proudly:

  • Reuses water as a coolant during the production process
  • Uses fleece lamination made of 100% recycled PET bottles
  • Works with mostly solution-dyed yarn to lower cost and increase sustainability
  • Uses a photovoltaic system of 108 kWp that covers 4% of the annual energy requirement

Miko: A Power-Saving Powerhouse

  • Goes off-the-grid as a 1 MWh plant with one-third of energy needs being fueled by photovoltaic panels
  • Reuses 20% of water during the production process
  • Monitors energy consumption per line
  • Saves power with more insulation and substitution of light with LED lamps
